Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) was an Italian artist who started at a very young age. At 15, he won a scholarship that enabled him to get accepted in the Carmini convent. From the age of 15 to 17 he worked as an apprentice decorator in the Murano furnaces, an experience that launched his artistic career. He was first introduced to Venini Murano in 1945 with an assignment to design perfume bottles. His glass making made him famous around the globe after the second World War.
