Description
A late Victorian gold, enamel, split pearl and banded agate memorial pendant and chain. The fancy belcher-link chain suspending an oval-shape banded agate cabochon, with black enamel surround set with four split-pearls, to the circular black enamel and split pearl drop and further cultured pearl drop with vacant glazed panel and personal inscription to the reverse. Length of chain 48cms. Length of pendant 5.9cms. Weight 20.1gms.
The condition of this lot is fair, with surface scratches and marks to the metal, enamel and glass in keeping with age and wear. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Cecilia Farrer Died Jany 11th, 1867, Age 72'. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
