Description
Group of Four French Majolica Figural Pitchers, 20th c., consisting of two roosters and a duck by St. Clement, and a smaller rooster, Largest- H.- 13 3/4 in., W.- 7 3/4 in., D.- 4 1/4 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. A flea-size chip is noted on one large rooster beak. Yellow residue is observed along the bottom edge of the same example. A pea-size spot is lacking glaze on the bottom edge of the small rooster. A flea-size firing flaw is noted on the back of the duck’s head. A charming quartet. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD “AS IS.” NO STATEMENT REGARDING CONDITION OF ANY ITEM, WHETHER IT IS MADE ORALLY AT THE AUCTION OR ANY OTHER TIME, OR IN WRITING IN THE CATALOGUE OR ELSEWHERE, SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE A WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY.
