An early 20th century French 18ct gold fob watch. The cream dial, with black Roman numerals, opening to reveal a miniature enamel portrait, depicting a young gentleman wearing a bow tie, suspended from a bow surmount. Portrait signed V.M. French assay marks. Diameter 2.8cms. Total weight 28.7gms. With case.
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Glass case over dial is loose.
  • Minor chips to miniature portrait.
  • Engraving to inner case reads; No.107035 CYLINDRE 10 Rubis, Augusta Meller horlager de la caur Yu Yraye.
