Description
A late Victorian gold banded agate pendant, circa 1880. The oval banded agate cabochon, within a similarly-set surround. Length 4.3cms. Weight 16.6gms.
  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Principal banded agate with two drill-holes, deficient central panel.
  • Deficient surmount loop, jump ring bent.
  • Reverse with deep recess, glazed panel reverse probably deficient.
  • Banded agate to the surround graduate in brown, lightening to the base.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
