Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY SPRIG-APPLIED TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF 15, comprising a low-bellied teapot with grapevine and cluster sprigs applied to side, over painted strawberries on vine, the domed cover with strawberry-form knop; six cups and five saucers with the same sprigged motif; a panel-molded teapot, with scalloped body and neo-rococo foot, the high-domed cover with foliate ring knop, the panels applied with foliate and floral sprigs; a cup plate with applied sprigs of figures alternating with flowers; and a scallop-molded copper tealeaf-pattern saucer with abraded gilt rim. The saucers marked for Adderleys. Circa 1830-1850 and later. Teapot 9 1/2" H.

Condition
Both teapots with some staining consistent with use, the sprigged cups with hairline cracks or a light chip, the cup plate and tealeaf saucer both stained.
