JULIAN ESHELMAN, SHENANDOAH CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA BIRTH AND BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE / FRAKTUR, watercolor and ink on a printed paper form, written and decorated by Shenandoah Valley schoolmaster Philip H. A. Overfield (Ueberfeldt), in English. Made for Julian Eshelman, daughter of Peter and Catherine Barseman Eshelman, born November 16th, 1809, in Shenandoah Co. Modern frame. Engraved by Gabriel Miesse (1807-1886), Reading, PA; printed by H. W. Villee, Lancaster, PA. Circa 1820. 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" sight.
