TWO VINTAGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN WARES, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a small lidded teapot of traditional form, the cream ground decorated with iron red, bright green, and turquoise stylized floral patterns, foliate tendrils, and butterflies centering an iron red outlined double happiness symbol on both sides, iron red handle and mouth, height: 3 1/2"; a parcel gilt lidded teapot of traditional form, the white ground featuring two maidens conversing aboard a gondola shaded by a pink and blue flowering trellis, the other side with a white crane in flight and carrying a string of red beads in its beak alongside stylized multicolored clouds leading to a temple, under a shoulder decorated with blooming peaches and auspicious foliate enclosed by a gilt rim, the circular lid with stylized red flowers and conformingly decorated handle centering a hand painted Shou symbol, height: 4 3/4".
Both teapots in good condition, with no apparent damage, cracks, chips, or repairs. General wear, such as pitting and gilt loss, as is expected and appropriate.
