Description

ENGLISH MAJOLICA SHELL-FORM PLANTER WITH PEDESTAL, LATE 19TH C., H 45" (TWO PIECES):Including 1 shell-form planter, impressed manufacturer's mark underneath (unidentified, see photo), along with "England, 816 D", on 1 separated pedestal, with same impressed mark with "838 D" (see photo), H.26". Two pieces total.

Condition

There is crazing on both pieces. The shell planter has an approx. 4" x 4" restoration. The pedestal base has chips along the top edge, ribs and the bottom edge. All of the chips can be seen in the photos provided.
