Ladies 18kt yellow gold pink tourmaline & diamond estate clip on earrings, each comprising: (1) cabochon oval pink tourmaline stone, approx. 17mm x 10mm; surrounded by (32) approx. 0.005ct round cut diamonds set in 18kt white gold, hallmarked on back below ear clip, retaining Joe Koen & Son Jeweler box, approx. 1"l, 27.8 grams (inclusive of all material) *Provenance: From the estate of Jo Anne Christian (Texas, 1936-2015), a lifelong collector of friends, paintings, jewelry, books and other beautiful things, was known for her love of color and her support for the arts. As one of the Three J's--the three women who founded Austin's Long Center for the Performing Arts--Mrs. Christian made an indelible mark on Texas' Capital City. Jo Anne Christian was the widow of George E. Christian Jr. (Texas, 1927-2002), press secretary to President Lyndon Baines Johnson. She was an attorney, an avid historian, a voracious reader and an inveterate theatergoer.
