Persian, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Collection of two framed works on paper with figural scenes comprising of a hand painted gouache manuscript page depicting figures in a garden in fall with tree in front of rocks with green and gold leaves, figures drinking tea and listening to woman playing harp, beside orange and blue tent with rectangular shade canopy, black text at top and in lower right; and a scene with twelve seated men of varying age in turbans in a circle on orange ground holding golden bead strands, white birds, and parasols in a stark landscape with a single green leaved tree against blue ground, apparently unsigned. Manuscript sheet framed approximately 15.25" x 11", sight size of sheet approximately 13" x 8.25". Work with seated men in circle framed approximately 13.25" x 17", sight size approximately 7.8" x 11.6".
