Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE IRONSTONE TRANSFERWARE TEAWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, printed in pale blue, comprising a Clementson "Tessino" patter hexagonal-panelled teapot and cover, an Enoch Wood "Pekin" pattern octagonal-panelled covered sugar bowl, a teabowl and saucer, all printed in the "Pekin" pattern. Some with marks to underside. Circa 1845-1865. The tallest 8 3/4" H.
Condition
Good to moderate condition, the teapot with a short firing crack to the body, original to manufacture, crazed, the spout with rough surface and chips to lower lip, the cover knop broken off and reattached to cover, the rim with a few small chips, the sugar bowl, teabowl and saucer with staining and crazing.
