Lot 1086 Details

Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE IRONSTONE FLOW BLUE ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, transfer printed, comprising the base of a "Lobelia" panel-molded, footed sauce tureen, a molded 14-panelled bowl printed in "Amoy" pattern and a cup plate, transfer-printed in Asian-inspired pattern under a scrolling foliate border. The first two with printed marks. Circa 1840-1860. The tallest 4 1/8" H.
Provenance: From the Franklin Stoneburner estate collection, Delavan, WI.
Condition
The tureen base crazed and stained, a long hairline crack to bowl and related chip glued back into place, with rubbing to upper rim and some inpainting to glaze loss near top, one third of the cup plate crazed and stained.
