Description
Year Runner Fusee Walnut Vienna Regulator. 6.5 in. porcelain dial signed “Jahresuhr” and with horseshoe hallmark for “Werner” with a “W” in the center, has black Roman hour numerals, pierced decorated hands and brass bezel. Quality brass 1 year running single cable fusee time only movement signed with W.C. in a horseshoe, has a 1.5 in. long fusee cone and massive 3.5 in. dia. barrel, deadbeat escapement, has 5 gears between the fusee and escape wheels; brass gridiron pendulum with applied stars and brass covered bob. In an excellent carved walnut case with molded horse figure on the crest, turned spindles and finial, case has turned half columns along the door and a pressed carved center panel with figural sea horses and filigree. In very good condition, original finish. 53 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 29 lbs.
