Description
OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch. Yellow metal case, stamped 0,750 with poincon. Reference 2481, serial 10820697. Signed automatic movement. Silvered dial with dot hour markers, Arabic numeral twelve. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with base metal pin buckle. 37mm.
Condition
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Rotor shows noticeable wear, tarnishing and has a spring missing so it is noisy inside the case. Dial shows noticeable discolouration and marks. Arabic twelve numeral is sitting at an angle. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case back appears to have some script removed in the past. Case also shows tarnishing. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface shows noticeable wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Bottom segment has a noticeable split. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as visible marks and scratches. Buckle is also tarnished. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
