Lot 0101 Details

Description
Two early 20th century 18ct gold diamond and gem-set rings. To include an Edwardian ruby and diamond ring with openwork sides and scrolling shoulders, together with a garnet-topped-doublet, sapphire and diamond ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907 and 1915. Weight 5.9gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of repair/ resize. Diamonds well matched. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies are a deep medium slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions. Sapphires are a medium light blue hue. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring sizes M and O 1/2. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
