A GROUP OF TWO UKIYO-E PRINTS FROM THE SERIES ONE HUNDRED FAMOUS VIEWS OF EDO, UTAGAWA [ANDO] HIROSHIGE (JAPANESE 1797-1858)
1. The Pine of Success, original 1856, color woodblock print, plate size: 34 x 22.5 cm (13 3/8 x 8 7/8 in.), number 61 from the series “One Hundred Views of Edo”, publisher’s stamp trimmed on the left

2. Nihon Embankment, Yoshiwara, original 1857, color woodblock print, plate size: 32.7 x 19.9 cm (12 7/8 x 7 3/4 in.), number 100 from the series “One Hundred Views of Edo”

Accompanied by Gian Carlo Calza`s Poem of the Pillow and other stories by Utamo, Hokusai, Kuniyoshi and other artists of the Floating World, (London: Phaidon Press Limited, 2010)
