[Aristotle]. Themistius and Alexander of Aphrodisaeus. (Greek titles) OMNIA THEMISTII OPERA: Hoc est paraphrases, et orationes. Alexandri Aphrodisiensis libri duo de Anima, et de Fato unus. Venice: Aldus [Aldus Manuzio & Andrea d'Asola], May 1534. Venice: Aldus [Aldus Manuzio & Andrea d'Asola], May 1534. First edition. Folio. 4, A-O8, P10, Q-X8, Y4. (4), 172, [2] pages. Early 19th century half calf over marbled boards, front hinge slightly cracked, spine with gilt title, date and Aldine device. A1 with headpiece and initial printed in red. Small bookplate label to front free endpaper "Kenneth Rapoport". Roman type (title & dedication), italic type (contents) and Greek type (text). Decorated initials. Aldine printer device to title page and last leaf. Light dampstain to upper inner corner of first few leaves, small inked numbers to 4, index, small , clean tear to O8, no affect, else a fine copy with wide margins.
