CARROLL CO., MARYLAND CUT-AND-WOVEN PAPER LOVE TOKENS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a heart-in-hand with inscription to Jesse Zile, a double heart, and a satchel with woven-hair handle inscribed to Mr. J. N. Z. from Miss E. J. B. Circa 1845. 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" to 1 7/8" x 2 1/4".

Provenance: Property of a Shenandoah Valley of Virginia private collector.
Catalogue Note: These three love tokens were all acquired at the same time. Jesse N. Zile (1831-1875) was born in Maryland and lived his life as a farmer near New Windsor.
Condition
Excellent condition, double heart with a minor loss to one corner.
