Description
An anthropomorphic mask from the Ibo tribe of Nigeria, well-carved with animal horns, facial scarification and three faces protruding from the forehead. An attractive mask with good age, the back showing considerable use. Quite impressive! L: c. 17 1/2 in (44 cm). Ex collection of Phil Orlando (1932-92) and Robert Gino, founders of the Orlando Gallery, a S.F. Valley fixture for nearly 60 years! Silver B20 (1932-92) and Robert Gino, founders of the Orlando Gallery, a S.F. Valley fixture for nearly 60 years!
