An exquisite portfolio containing ten color etchings and aquatints, hors-texte, to illustrate ten poems by Benjamin Peret (chosen by Tristan Sauvage from the collection, De derriere les Fagots). 1964. Number 12 of edition of 125. Each print signed and numbered 12/100 by the artist in pencil. The colophon stamp-numbered and signed in pencil by Baj. Several prints with collage. The etchings printed in Milan at the Atelier of Giorgio Upiglio, under the supervision of Baj. Faux title page with printed notations and signature by Marcel Duchamp. Foreword by Andre Breton. PRINTS: Excellent condition. Full margins, fine impressions, 9 3/4 x 7 5/8 in. (248 x 194 mm), Sheet Sizes: 12 5/8 x 9 3/4 in. (321 x 248 mm). Rives paper (Text on Arches). PORTFOLIO: Very good condition. Unbound as issued, in original wrappers with matching slipcase, both covered in brown and white striped herringbone fabric.
