Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY CHILDREN'S, MERCHANT'S AND TABLEWARES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising a Rogers small dish transfer-printed in red in the "Orphans" pattern; an ABC plate transfer-printed in black with a scene of children taking cover under "GRANDMA'S UMBRELLA"; another ABC plate, transfer-printed in blue with "Rather go to bed supperless than Rise in Debt," from the Franklin's Maxim's series; two children's mugs; a "Holloway's Cures" ointment pot; and a "Millennium" pattern plate, transfer-printed in red. Circa 1830 and later. 2 5/8" HOA, 9" DOA.

Provenance: Property of New York private collectors.

Condition
Most in moderate condition with some combination of crazing; heat damage and staining and small chips. The Millennium plate is in good order.
