Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY AMERICAN-INTEREST HISTORICAL VIEW PLATES, LOT OF FOUR, transfer-printed in purple, comprising two Adams plates in two sizes, printed in the "Columbus" pattern, and two dinner plates printed with " Fishkill" and "Troy from Mt. Ida" from the "Pictures Views of the Hudson River" series. Various impressed and printed marks. Circa 1835 and later. 7 1/4" to 10 1/2" D. (UPDATED 4/6/2015)

Provenance: From the Dorothy R. Daniel estate, Arlington, VA.

Condition
The first two in very good condition; the second two in moderate condition, with various rubbed edges, crazed glazing, heat damage, etc.
