ENGLISH STEVENSON POTTERY PEARLWARE "ALMS HOUSE BOSTON" PATTERN PLATTER, transfer-printed in dark blue, the shaped and molded rim left in the white above a wide foliate border on the shoulder spilling into the cavetto, the view of the Alms House building framed by elm trees, with spectators in the foreground. Impressed and printed marks. Circa 1835. 11 1/2" W, 14 1/2" L.

Moderate condition, a large section between 9 o'clock and 11 o'clock broken and glued back on to the body.
