Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY PEARLWARE TEAWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a rib-molded ovular teapot and cover, painted in Prattware hues of blue, ocher and green, with stylized flowers heads between blue band; and a prow-collared oval sugar bowl and domed cover with ring handle, the cover and lower body barrel-molded, the whole undecorated. Cover of sugar lightly inscribed "22," otherwise unmarked. Circa 1800-1820. 6 7/8" HOA.



Condition
The teapot with a long firing crack toward the foot, running laterally, with small chip to spout and glaze flakes to cover rim in one area; the sugar bowl body with crazing due to heat exposure to the base, restored collar to one side, and the ring knop also restored.
