The lot is comprised of a period style orange wool jersey waist coat with tails. It features full length ruched sleeves, three fabric covered hook and eye style buttons and snap closure at the high waist and decorative orange thread appliqués all around the collar, down the front of the jacket, on the sleeves and at the cuffs. The costume is fully lined in orange chiffon. It includes a Paramount Costume label, marked in indelible ink, Barbra Streisand," There is also an orange wool muff, featuring heavy soutach, and appliquéd fringe tassels overall, Paramount label reading, "Barbra Streisand," as well as a orange wool top hat, featuring a decorative ribbon medallion shaped decoration adorned with two tassels, and long flowing orange chiffon scarf attached at rear, two Paramount costume labels present, one reading, "#1", the other reading, "Streisand, USA."
