The drypoint with lithograph and silkscreen in colors ‘Le Phénix’ by the world-renowned, Spanish artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) was created in 1976. The work was made as an illustration for the book ‘Alchimie des Philosophes’. It represents Dalí’s considerable interest in alchemy as well as his special Surrealist creativity and artistic skill.


The work has been signed with ‘Dalí’ and numbered with ‘80/225’ on the lower right. The print and the golden frame are in a very good condition. Also the work has been framed in a mat. The dimensions of the sheet are 75 x 57 cm and the framed dimensions are 114 x 93 cm.


Salvador Dalí (1904 – 1989)

The Spanish painter, printmaker and sculptor Salvador Dalí was one of the main representatives of Surrealism. In 1929 Dalí joined the Surrealists in Paris. Today his dream-like works, influenced by the Unconscious are among the collections of important international museums. Salvador Dali is regarded as one of the most famous artists of the 20th Century.
