1829 MAP OF KENT ENGLAND HAND COLORED ENGRAVING: A large and detailed, hand-colored engraving map of the County of Kent with a view of Canterbury Cathedral at lower left. The map was published in Christopher and James Greenwood's "Atlas Of The Counties Of England" from 1829 following a survey that was undertaken in the years 1819 and 1820. The key in the upper left references Castles and Priories, Parks and Pleasure Grounds and Railways, Wind and Water Mills and many other features; Framed: 29" x 33 1/4"; Areas of scattered foxing, not examined out of frame.
