resewn, uncut, a little browned, small repairs to corners, 6th May 1833 § Extracts from the Minutes of Evidence on the London and Birmingham Railway Bill, stitched in original wrappers, contemporary ink inscription at head of upper wrappers, soiled, 1832 § House of Commons. Minutes of Evidence on the London and Birmingham Railway Bill, large folding table, original blue printed wrappers, uncut, a little rubbed, spine faded, 2 May 1839 § Acts relating to the London and Birmingham Railway, 1837 bound with Act (An) to enable the London and Birmingham Railway company to raise a further sum of money, 1839, together 2 works in 1 vol., bookplate of Frederic Baron Wolverton, contemporary diced calf, rubbed, the first three all preserved in modern cloth drop-back boxes, folio & 8vo (4) A bill proposing the London & Birmingham Railway was rejected by the House of Lords in 1832, but subsequently passed in 1833.
