Playing Cards (Jack, Queen, King and Ace), 1972; Lithographs in colors (framed separately); Each signed and numbered 99/150; 25" x 19 1/4" (sight) each; Provenance: Estate of a Gentleman, New York
Condition
All works are in good condition. Each signed and numbered in pencil lower recto. Jack: Minor discoloration on perimeter, 1" line to paper on signature side, tiny other imperfections to top and bottom of image, likely from printing process. Queen: Same perimeter as the Jack with the same line on paper, 1" in of the side with the signature. There is an identical print mark between the signature and the numbered edition. Similar specs and evidence of color on paper outside of the print. Ace: Same perimeter, this paper has the watermark, one indentation print mark above the crown of the head and identical tiny flex of ink. King: Edges are the same condition, also features the watermark on the same side as the signature. Print mark between the signature and edition number, similar specs of color scattered along the perimeter.
