Lucia Silk Screen Movie Poster by Raul Martinez
Item Details
Description
ARTIST: Publio Amable Raúl Martínez González, known as Raúl Martínez, (1 November 1927 – 2 April 1995) Film History: The most spectacular masterpiece to emerge from the Latin American cinema to date, Lucia is a grandiose mix of audacity, romanticism, experimentalism, and epic historical vision whose equivalent can perhaps be found only in the deliriously ambitious, one of a kid projects like Griffith's Intolerance, Bertolucci's 1900, and Coppola's Godfather II. Lucia is structured in three parts, each centering on a woman in a different era of Cuban history.
