Two Japanese books, woodblock prints: one with 50 [ukiyo-e] prints by 29 artists including Ando Hiroshige and Katsushiko Hokusai, [most pages and some prints with foxing], patterned cloth over board covers, [stains, wear to fabric and edges of boards], stitched spine, prints approximately 11-3/4 x 7-3/4 in., book 14 x 11 in.; other book using Utagawa Hiroshige's print "Miya, Atsutu Shinji" (Religious Festival at Atsutu Shrine, Miya) from The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido Road, Hoeido edition, to illustrate the application of each color in a woodblock print, heavy gilt-edge accordion-fold pages between cloth-covered boards, 9-3/4 x 14-1/2 in., [some foxing, one board off but present, wear to fabric and edges on boards], both early 20th century.
