Item Details

Description

VICTORIAN CASED SATIN GLASS BRIDE'S BASKET, shaded rose interior with polychrome-enamel decoration, six-lobe body with boldly crimped and ruffled rim. Fitted in a quadruple-plate stand marked for Meriden Britannia Co. and numbered 1685. Fourth quarter 19th century. 12 1/2" HOA, 9 3/4" x 11 1/2" rim.
