Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY IRONSTONE MINIATURE DINNER AND TEAWARES, LOT OF SIX ARTICLES, including a teapot, cover and stand, a covered sugar, a cream boat, and a two-handled soup tureen and cover, and a two-handled underplate, each of octagonal panelled form, the bodies with swelling feet below pinched ankles, the domed covers of the teapot and sugar formed as berries; and the tureen as a floral bud, each painted with geometric cross-hatched gilding and a band of seaweed in a line, with blue dots scattered throughout, impressed BT/JWP and Co. to underside. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 3/8" HOA.

Provenance: Collection of Jessie and the late Eugene Long, Broadway, VA.
Condition
Most articles in good condition with minor crazing, the tureen reglued to the base, light gilding and enamel wear throughout.
