LINCOLN/McCLELLAN "REVIEW OF THE ARMY" Cover, by Charles Magnus, NY, Choice Extremely Fine.
5.5" x 3.0". Civil War envelope with bronze illustrations of Abraham Lincoln and McClellan. Lettered banner at the bottom of the pictures reads, "Review of the Army". The detailing is excellent, every tiny detail is sharp and clear. Surface is smooth with no visible damage. Background images include: American Eagle, and a rare Zouave. A zouave was an American soldier that wore a boxed top hat that included a tassel, who mostly came from New York. The rarity of such figures in Civil War history makes this a rare, fine piece for any Civil War collector.
