Description
A selection of jewellery, to include a late Victorian silver coin brooch, a Monet rope-twist chain, a graduated cultured pearl single-row necklace and a pair of tassel earrings. One signed Monet. The first with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1888. Length of brooch 3cms. Length of chain 75cms.
Condition
Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with general wear. Due to the number of items in this lot it is not possible to provide a full condition report. Replacement pin to the Victorian brooch. Some surface wear to the Monet chain. Cultured pearls creamy yellow, fair skins with some surface blemishes. Cultured pearls differ slightly in hue and lustre, some have a poor lustre with surface wear. Discolouration and wear to the string. Evidence of repair to the earrings, with fixed posts for pierced ears. One paste deficient. One chain and one brooch AF. Approximately eight items with marks to indicate silver.
