Simpson Hall Miller & Co. of Wallingford CT, produced this electro-plated Silverplate Ice Pitcher sometime between 1865 and 1900. It is silver lined, and boasts a Lyman's (patented) hinged spout. The Lyman's spout system was featured on many ice pitchers in the era and can most often be found in pitchers produced by the Meriden Britannia Co. (now International Silver) Featuring a finial in a scepter shape, and cabochons chased quatrefoil we see dentil rolled/dye stamped borders. Naturalistic vine & leaf handle. Monogrammed "K". 12.5" H X 10.5" W X 73/4" D. Weight: 5 lbs. JUST ONE OF MANY LEMONADE PITCHERS/ ICE PITCHERS BEING OFFERED IN THIS AUCTION.
