Two late 19th century agate fobs. To include a carnelian cabochon fob with hinged surmount revealing a compass, together with a jasper, bloodstone and rock crystal intaglio swivel fob with scrolling floral pedestal. Lengths 4.3 and 3.3cms.
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There is slight wear to the gold coating. The jasper panel is carved with an intaglio of a male in profile. The jasper panel has two significant chips, visible to the shoulders. The bloodstone is carved with a fish flanked by wings, the foil back rock crystal is carved with script initials lll. The rock crystal is heavily abraded. There is significant deterioration to the foil back.
