AN AMERICAN FEDERAL BLUE AND WHITE PARTIAL DINNER SERVICE TOGETHER WITH ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE SCENIC DINNERWARE, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY, comprised of two flow transferware tea pots commemorating "Commodore Mac Donnough's Victory," a naval officer who rose to fame during the War of 1812 by successfully leading American forces against the British at the Battle of Lake Champlain, part of the larger Battle of Plattsburgh, which helped lead to an end to that war, height: 8", 7"; a flow blue tea pot featuring an eagle with shield, height: 8 1/2"; a flow blue sugar with lid, height: 7"; a flow blue creamer with eagle and shield, height: 6"; a creamer depicting an American Indian with teepees, height: 4"; various plates depicting American and English commemorative scenes by Wood & Sons and Clews; two flow blue tea cups, one with matching saucer; two Wood & Son platters with English scenes, length: 16 1/2"; a Clews covered dish depicting fishermen by a river, width: 10 1/2".
