Maison Jansen Mahogany Dining Table

20th century, the oval top within a brass banding, opening to accommodate two 20" leaves, above a conforming paneled frieze, raised on fluted, tapering circular legs with ormolu accents and ending in brass caps, stamped "Maison Jansen".
h. 30", w. 42-1/2", l. 68", ext. l. 108"

Provenance: Florian Papp Inc., New York, New York.
Condition
In overall fine condition. No sign of damage. Very minor, light scuffs to the top from use. There is a 3-inch scratch on one leaf and a 3-inch scratch near one end of the table top, both of which may polish out. Retains a rich overall finish to the wood. Appears to date to around the third quarter 20th century.
