With 62 mainly coloured steel engraved plates and 100 wood engraved illustrations. Blind tooled cloth with gilt stamped title to spine and gilt cover illustration (coating of spine with defects, ends of spine worn, bumped, stained, cover loosened). - The splendidly coloured plates show inhabitants of different parts of the world, among them numerous Indians. - Library stamps, partly untrimmed, book body cracked, some leaves and layers loosened or loose, occ. slightly stained or soiled, the beautiful plates overall well preserved.
Sabin 65474. - Norman 1746. - Die prachtvoll kolorierten Tafeln zeigen Bewohner verschiedener Gegenden der Welt, darunter zahlreiche Indianer. - Bibl.-Stempel, tls. unbeschnitten, Block geplatzt, einige Blätter u. Lagen gelockert, wenige lose, gelegentlich gering fleckig oder angeschmutzt, die schönen Tafeln insgesamt gut erhalten.
