SONGYE - Beautiful Female Kifwebe Mask
Very beautiful mask with a cubist and refined aesthetic
Kifwebe masks are real modern sculptures with very daring architecture, exuberant shapes and volumes.
The Songye are a people living in the wooded savannas
from the south-east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Like the Hemba, they are quite close culturally to the Luba.
Characteristics:
