Pyotr Nikolayevich Krasnov (Пётр Николаевич Краснов;) was a Don Cossack historian and officer, Lieutenant General of the Russian army. After the 1917 revolution, was one of the leaders of the White Movement. In World War II Krasnoff mobilized Cossack forces to fight against the USSR becoming a Nazi collaborator. Pyotr Krasnov was handed over to the Soviets by the British authorities on 5.28.1945, held in the Lubyanka prison. Sentenced to death and executed with General Andrei Shkuro, Timofey Domanov and Helmuth von Pannwitz.
