Description
DESCRIPTION: Antique Cossack shashka sword featuring silver hilt decorated with niello, embossing, and engraving, slightly curved blade with false blade and wide fuller on either side, wood scabbard covered with black stitched leather and silver mounts decorated with niello engraving, all three mounts bear an inscription in Arabic and a stamped silver hallmark “841”.Leather Skirt on top of the scabbard is lacking. Rare and Seldom Encountered example.
