Description
15 Chinese 19th C Canton (Nanking) Blue & White Porcelains: 3 single handle sauce boats, 6 platters, 3 tureen bottoms, 3 covers; together with a large Shuangxi marked ginger or tea jar. Height of Shuangxi jar 81/2 inches (21.5 cm.).
Condition
The large Shuangxi jar drilled through the base with tiny flakes to unglazed mouth edge; almost every piece of Canton blue & white with 1 or more small frits, small glaze flakes or small chips, 1 tureen bottom with a hairline across base, a few minor kiln firing spots and occasional wear to edges.
