FRONTIERSMAN / NATIVE AMERICAN COLONIAL-ERA BELT AXE, forge-welded head with beehive-shaped eye, one side stamped with mostly illegible maker's name, retaining a portion of the likely original haft. Third quarter 18th century. 7 1/8" LOA, head 4" L, blade edge 2 3/8".
