Item Details

Description

Mixed media, Mid-century stoneware ceramic mask by David Gil. Stamped as such to the backside with artist initials and potter mark. A freestanding construction consisting of the front of the face constructed of ceramic, leather (tongue) and metal (eyes). Front and back of head are affixed to lucite, which all terminates and is supported by a solid wood base. 19" ht. x 7.5" wd. x 7.5" dp.
