Rare Hubley Lindy Glider Cast Iron Toy Airplane, Circa 1930; a rare version of the large Lindy Glider with a 10 1/2" wingspan. It includes the pilot in his bennie cap. The toy is in very good condition. It appears the body was stripped of original finish in preparation for repaint. It is noted that the screw attaching the wing is a to the fuselage is replaced. The plane measures 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 4 1/2". This object is from the estate of a long time collector that was also a tinkerer. Apparently, he liked to restore his collection.
