A 19th century oil on canvas painting of a Quaker woman. The woman is seated on a red chair and gazes out at the viewer. The piece is unsigned and includes a label on the verso identifying the woman as Elizabeth Rogers Philips. The canvas has a printed label on it reading "R. Ellinger and Co. artist materials Baltimore MD."

Dimensions are: framed 27 1/2 inches tall X 23 inches wide, 10.83 cm X 9.06 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Some inpainting to the face, background, and body.

Provenance: Private collection, Virginia.
