Description

Two George III Sterling Silver Sweetmeat Baskets and Two Victorian Sterling Silver Baskets
One basket with openwork sides marked Richard Meach, London, circa 1770, the other basket with spiral pierced panels marked Thomas Foster, London, 1767; the pair of Victorian Dutch style baskets marked Robert Harper, London, 1882. Lengths 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), 6 inches (15.3 cm), and 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), respectively, total approximately 22 ounces.

Meach - slight denting to body; lacking date mark; small losses to tips of rim
Foster - bending to handle; break to pierced sides
